The Ridgetop Tour is Arkaroola's headline trip: a guided 4WD run along steep, exposed tracks to Sillers Lookout, with views across the northern Flinders and out toward Lake Frome. The drive is part of the point, because the road climbs through tilted beds, broken ridges, and mineral country that would be hard to read alone.
It is expensive compared with a short walk, but this is the tour that makes Arkaroola feel like more than a remote dot on the map. Book ahead in busy seasons and expect dust, wind, and big temperature swings.
