The Tamar Valley is a wine-growing region producing some of Tasmania's best-known wines. Many wineries have restaurants and picturesque settings — highlights include the Bay of Fires winery, Pipers Brook Vineyard with its cloistered garden, Rosevears overlooking the Tamar Valley, and Daniel Alps at Strathlynn by the water.
