A car is the most practical way to get around Mildura and the surrounding Sunraysia district, especially if you want to visit wineries and farms outside the city. The city centre is compact and walkable, with most attractions along or close to the riverfront.
Local buses run by Dyson Bus Lines cover the main suburbs, but services are infrequent and not really designed for visitors. Taxis and rideshares are available. Cycling is feasible in the flat city centre and along the riverfront trail — bike hire is available in town.
