Town Beach is not as beautiful as the national-park beaches, but it is close, easy, and useful. It works for a quick swim in suitable conditions, a walk along the shore, or a relaxed evening when you do not want another drive.
Think of it as Exmouth's everyday beach rather than the Ningaloo showpiece. For serious snorkelling, head west toward Cape Range and the reef-side beaches.
