Exmouth splits its attention between reef and range. On the coast, Turquoise Bay, Oyster Stacks, and the national-park beaches give shore access to Ningaloo. Inland, Mandu Mandu Gorge and the limestone country of Cape Range National Park show the dry side of the peninsula.
In town, the Ningaloo Centre is useful for context before you start chasing wildlife. If you are here for whale sharks or humpback swims, choose operators carefully and accept that wildlife sets the schedule, not the brochure.
