Vlamingh Head Lighthouse is one of the easiest sunset stops near Exmouth. The viewpoint looks over the cape, reef, and ocean, with enough height to make the shape of the coast clear.
In whale season, it is also a good place to scan offshore with patience and binoculars. The lighthouse itself is modest; the reason to come is the view and the way the light catches the dry country around the cape.
