Honiara's restaurant scene is limited but improving. The best eating is often at Chinese-run restaurants, which are found throughout the city, or at the resorts along Mendana Avenue. Fresh fish from the Central Market is excellent — barracuda, tuna, and various reef fish are sold daily.
