The Sennhütte is a slope-side mountain lodge on the Nasserein side of St. Anton, halfway down the Steissbachtal piste. It looks much like dozens of other mountain huts on the Arlberg until you step inside: the walls are entirely covered in pressed and framed edelweiss flowers, the result of a decades-long collection by the family who run the place.
It works as a lunch stop or as an end-of-day après venue — sun terrace, plates of tafelspitz and goulash, a long drinks menu, and live music most afternoons in season. Reasonably priced for the location, and lively without being aggressive.
