Ski Amadé

Radstadt is one of the entry points to Ski Amadé, with the local mountain — Schwemmberg-Marbachhöhe — connected by lift and shared piste to the wider Salzburger Sportwelt and Schladming-Dachstein sectors. Around 760 km of piste and a single lift pass make it one of the largest connected ski areas in Europe.

The terrain immediately above Radstadt is mostly intermediate, gentle red and easy black runs through wide pine forests. For more challenge, the Planai above Schladming or the Stoderzinken offer steeper alpine descents; both are reachable on the ski bus included in the lift pass. Cross-country trails run for 50 km along the Enns valley from the town.

A story
Ski Amadé brings together five separate ski regions — Schladming-Dachstein, Salzburger Sportwelt, Gastein, Hochkönig, and Grossarltal — under a single lift pass, totalling around 760 km of pistes and 270 lifts. It is one of the largest ski networks in the Alps and the largest in Austria.
