Ganca has its own airport (IATA: KVD), with domestic flights to Baku on AZAL and occasional international routes. The most common overland connection is by bus from Baku, a journey of about four to five hours along the main east-west highway. There are also several daily trains from Baku, though the station is five kilometres from the city centre. The road and rail routes continue west through Georgia, making Ganca a logical stop on an overland journey between Baku and Tbilisi.
