Ganca rewards a full day of exploration. The historic centre around Shah Abbas Square has the mosque, the old baths, and the fortress remains. The Bottle House is a required stop. The Nizami Ganjavi Museum and the State History-Ethnography Museum give the city's literary and historical depth. If you have a car, the seven lakes and Göygöl national park to the southwest are among the best natural scenery in Azerbaijan.
