The Hospital of St John, or Sint-Janshospitaal, is one of Bruges' most atmospheric museum settings: a medieval hospital complex now used to display art and medical history. Its best-known works are paintings by Hans Memling, shown in the historic hospital buildings.
It is a strong stop for visitors already walking between the Church of Our Lady, the canals, and the southern edge of the old centre.
