Belgium's national art collection, strong on the Flemish masters and Bruegel

Belgium's national art collection fills a vast complex off the Place Royale, spanning the Oldmasters Museum and the Fin-de-Siècle Museum (the separate Magritte Museum shares the campus). The Flemish Primitives and the Bruegels are its heart — Pieter Bruegel the Elder's Census at Bethlehem and Fall of Icarus among them — backed by Rubens, Jordaens, and a strong 19th-century holding.
