☰Suite 16

This club on the Oude Beestenmarkt used to be known as Club 69, the little brother of Culture Club. After a change of ownership it was repainted and rebranded as Suite 16, with a tighter door and a shifted music policy — house and electro replaced the old hip-hop and R&B (for the latter, the place next door, Chocolate, still fills that need). It opens late, around 1am, and runs until 7am. Loud music, not ideal for conversation. The crowd dresses in the Ghent fashion of vintage mixed with deliberate style.
