The Catholic cathedral of Zenica is a 20th-century building, simple in plan, that serves the city's Croat Catholic minority. It sits a few blocks from the central pedestrian zone. The interior is plain — whitewashed walls, a modest organ, modern stained glass — but the cathedral and the Sultan Ahmed Mosque a short walk away frame the religious mix of central Bosnia in a single afternoon.
Mass times are posted on the door; outside service hours it is usually open for quiet visits.
