Zenica is a working industrial city — visitors usually pass through on the road between Sarajevo and Banja Luka rather than coming specifically — but a half-day on foot is enough to see the old core, the museum, and a couple of Ottoman survivals. The medieval fortress at Vranduk and the village mosque at Gornji Čajdraš are short trips out.
