Momina Salza, "the maiden's tear," is one of the mineral springs that keep Hisarya from feeling like a dead archaeological site. Locals and visitors still come to drink the water, filling bottles or the old-fashioned little ceramic ewers once sold as spa souvenirs.
It is a modest sight, but a good one. Stand here after seeing the Roman baths and the continuity is hard to miss: Hisarya has been organised around warm water for a very long time.
