L'Eperquerie is a small, rugged bay on Sark's north coast, reached by lanes and tracks rather than by anything resembling a resort approach. The draw is the old-fashioned Sark combination of cliff, tide, silence, and a sense that the sea is never quite background scenery.
At low tide the bay opens into rock pools and rough foreshore; at high tide it becomes a place to look rather than wander. Wear decent shoes and check conditions if you plan to go down to the water, because the island's charm often comes with steep paths and very little hand-holding.
