The Krk Bridge is a 1,430-metre concrete arch bridge connecting the mainland just south of Kraljevica to the islet of Sveti Marko and then to Krk. When it opened in 1980, the larger of its two spans (390 metres) was the longest concrete arch in the world. The crossing is free of charge and the bridge is the main road link to Croatia's most populous island, including its airport.
The pull-out near the mainland approach gives the best photo angle. From Kraljevica it is a short drive south on the D102.
