Jezera

Jezera is on the south coast — the name means "lakes," after the shallow ponds that once stood inland — and it is the smallest and quietest of the four villages. Its main feature is the ACI marina at the north end of the bay, the largest on the island and one of the main jumping-off points for the Kornati.

The old village core, around the parish church on the hill, is worth a wander for its narrow stone streets and seaview tavernas. Kosirina beach, about 2 km west along the coast road, is the wildest stretch on the south side of the island.
