Getting There

Pag is accessible by two main routes. The Pag Bridge (Paški most) connects the island to the mainland near Zadar — it is the older and more southerly entry point, and the road from it leads directly to Pag Town. The bridge is free; in summer the approach road queues in both directions during peak arrival and departure days (Friday evening, Sunday evening), so time arrivals accordingly.

The Žigljen–Prizna ferry connects the northern part of the island (near Novalja) to the mainland near Karlobag. Jadrolinija operates this route with frequent sailings in summer; the crossing takes about 15 minutes. This is the faster option if you are heading to Novalja or the northern part of the island from the direction of Rijeka or Senj.

By bus, the island is served by routes from Zadar, Rijeka, and Zagreb, which cross via the bridge. Split and Zagreb buses to Novalja also run in summer. There is no airport on Pag; the nearest airports are Zadar (for the southern part) and Rijeka (for the north).
