A serious wine bar in a narrow stone room off Kralja Tomislava, with around two hundred Croatian labels by the bottle and a rotating list of around thirty by the glass. The owner is happy to walk you through indigenous varieties — Pošip, Plavac Mali, Babić, Debit — with small plates of Pag cheese, Dalmatian pršut and anchovies on the side.
Opens late afternoon, busy from around eight. It gets cramped in summer but the outdoor tables on the lane help. A good first stop before dinner or a slow last one after.
