Trpanj has a handful of waterfront konobas (family tavernas) serving the Dalmatian standards — grilled fish, octopus salad, black squid risotto, lamb peka cooked under a metal lid in embers. Almost everything closes outside the May-to-September season. Prices are noticeably lower than on the more famous parts of the Dalmatian coast.
