A long-running rooftop bar built into a section of the medieval city walls, with views over the old town and the harbour. Founded in the early 2000s by James Brown of UB40 fame and former associates, the Garden runs into the small hours in summer and hosts the occasional DJ.
Cocktails are pricey but well made; cushions and low sofas spread across the wall make it as much a place to sit and watch as to drink. The same crew run an electronic music festival, The Garden Festival (later Love International), at the resort of Tisno up the coast.
