Masná Restaurace (the meat restaurant) does exactly what the name suggests: a focused menu of grilled meats, roasts, and Czech classics in an interior that leans into the old butcher's-shop aesthetic. Dark wood, heavy tables, mounted antlers — the atmosphere is unambiguously Central European.
The pork dishes are the thing to order here. The portions are large and the cooking is straightforward rather than refined, which is precisely the point. This is a place to eat well without pretension, with a beer in hand.
Good value for the location and better than many of the similar-looking places around the main square.
