Egholm is Aalborg's little island escape, sitting in the Limfjord just across from the city. A short ferry ride puts you among flat lanes, fields, shoreline paths, and a slower rhythm than the downtown museums and cafes.
It is best in good weather, especially by bike or on foot. Treat it as a half-day breathing space rather than a major attraction: the pleasure is in the ferry, the wind, and the sense that Aalborg has countryside on its doorstep.
