Aalborg Airport is 6km northwest of the city centre, with flights to Copenhagen and a handful of European destinations. The airport bus connects to the city in about 15 minutes. Trains run frequently from Aarhus (about 1.5 hours) and Copenhagen (around 3 hours with a change); the station is central. By road, Aalborg is on the E45 motorway.
The Limfjord tunnel and the older Limfjord bridge link the city with Nørresundby to the north. Lindholm Høje is on the north side of the fjord, about 3km from the city centre — bus connections run from the central station.
