Herning's sights are split between the Birk art district east of town and the MCH event zone to the south. Birk is the better choice for an ordinary traveller on an ordinary day: HEART, the Carl-Henning Pedersen & Else Alfelt Museum, sculpture park, geometric gardens, and Elia can be combined into a compact art walk. The MCH venues are worth planning around when there is a fair, football match, concert, or handball event.
