Getting Around

Randers is compact enough that the old town, the museum quarter, and the Regnskov are all walkable from the railway station. The station is about ten minutes on foot from the centre, and most of the main attractions fall within a 15-minute walking radius.

Memphis Mansion is the main exception — it is 4 kilometres south of the centre and most conveniently reached by taxi or car. A city bus runs roughly in that direction but requires a walk at the end.

By bike: Randers has a flat town centre and is good cycling territory. Bikes can be hired at a few points in the city; ask at your accommodation.

By bus: The city bus network covers the suburbs but is not necessary for most visitors who confine themselves to the centre and the main attractions.

For the Gudenå kayaking and fjord day trips, operators typically offer shuttle or car arrangements from the city centre.
