Getting Around

Kaberneeme is a small peninsula village and most of its attractions are reachable on foot. The beach runs for about two kilometres along the western shore and the forest trails behind it are navigable without a map for a short visit. The Kalevi-Liiva dunes are about 4.5 km south of the village centre — walkable in under an hour or easily cycled.

A bicycle is the ideal way to explore the wider peninsula and the Ubari Landscape Conservation Area. There is no bike rental in the village itself; if cycling is part of your plan, bring a bike from Tallinn or hire one in Loksa. The coastal roads are quiet and largely flat.

There is no public transport within the peninsula. A car is the most practical option if you want to visit nearby areas — the town of Loksa is about 20 km away and has a small supermarket and fuel station. Lahemaa National Park, whose western edge begins a short drive east, is also most easily explored by car.
