Pärnu is easiest by bus. Frequent services link it with Tallinn in about two hours and with Tartu, Riga, and other regional towns. The bus station is central, a short walk from the old town.
By car, Pärnu sits on the main Tallinn-Riga road, which makes it a natural stop on a Baltic overland route. Passenger rail service is limited and not usually the practical choice for visitors.
