Von Krahli is the most interesting performance venue in Tallinn — an experimental theatre company with its own building in the Old Town that puts on challenging productions and hosts visiting companies from around Europe. The bar on the ground floor is one of the better places in the Old Town to have a drink: not tourist-facing, genuinely local, and frequently busy with performers, artists, and students from the nearby arts college.
The theatre programme can be found on their website; productions are usually in Estonian but the quality of the staging often communicates regardless of language.
