Worker Housing Museum

The Worker Housing Museum preserves early 20th-century homes built for Helsinki city employees and their families. Each room is arranged as a snapshot of everyday life in a different decade, from the 1920s through the 1980s.

Visits are usually by short guided tour, which makes the small museum more useful than a simple period-room display. It works well with a walk through Kallio and the old working-class districts north of the centre.
