Courthézon's main appeal is its wine. Two of the appellation's most celebrated estates are within a few minutes' drive, and the cooperative Cellier des Princes welcomes visitors without an appointment. The medieval village centre, with well-preserved 12th-century ramparts and three surviving gates, rewards a short walk. Château Val Seille, the ornate 19th-century town hall set in formal parkland, is open to visitors.
