Maison de la Culture de Firminy is one of the key buildings in the Firminy-Vert complex associated with Le Corbusier. The cultural centre is recognised by UNESCO as part of the architect's World Heritage listing, and its long concrete form shows his late approach to civic architecture.
It is best visited with the nearby Church of Saint-Pierre and the rest of the Firminy site. Together they make the strongest modernist architecture excursion from Saint-Etienne.
