A straightforward town-square café with a wide terrace looking onto the central place. The coffee is good, the croissants arrive fresh in the morning, and by mid-afternoon the terrace is the preferred spot for watching the town go about its business. In the evening it functions as a bar, with a short selection of local beers and Gascon wine by the glass.
During the Fêtes de la Madeleine the terrace is extended and the café stays open into the small hours, with banda music passing through at regular intervals. It is an unremarkable place eleven months of the year and an excellent one during the twelfth.
