The old town is compact and best explored on foot. The cathedral, the porcelain museum, the market, and the Rue de la Boucherie are all within a 15-minute walk of each other. The Limoges-Bénédictins station is a 15-minute walk from the city centre — worth doing, as the approach down the Boulevard Victor Hugo shows you the station in its full architectural glory.
Limoges has a local bus network (TCL Limoges) that covers the broader city and the suburbs, but visitors staying in the centre will not need it.
