A Nepita

Modern Corsican cooking in the old town, strong local wine list

Address 4 Rue San Lazaro, Ajaccio

One of the better restaurants in Ajaccio's old town, in a narrow street between the Fesch Museum and the port. The kitchen works with Corsican ingredients — chestnut, brocciu, black pig, local fish — but treats them with more ambition than most places in the city. The menu changes with the market; the wine list focuses on Corsican appellations. Book ahead in summer; the dining room is small.
