Getting Around

Calvi proper is small enough to walk everywhere β€” the citadel, the harbour, and the long beach are all within fifteen minutes of each other on foot. The little Trinighellu train runs east to L'Île-Rousse and the Balagne villages, doubling as a beach shuttle in summer.

For deeper exploration of the Balagne hill villages β€” Sant'Antonino, Pigna, Calenzana β€” a hire car is the easiest option. Local buses are infrequent.
