Cros-de-Cagnes Beach

The beach at Cros-de-Cagnes is a long shingle beach facing the Mediterranean, with the usual mix of free public sections and private beach clubs. It is quieter and less crowded than the beaches in Nice and Antibes, which makes it a practical choice for families or anyone who wants a beach experience without fighting for space.

The beach village of Cros-de-Cagnes itself has a handful of good fish restaurants — the fishing fleet still operates here — and a more working-class character than the glamorous resorts to east and west. In summer, parking along the front is difficult; the train from Nice (Cros-de-Cagnes station is on the Nice–Ventimiglia line) is a much easier option.
