Parc de la Tour Vieille is a green local escape on the edge of town, with paths, trees, and space to cool down. It is a pleasant pause rather than a must-see attraction.
It works well if you are travelling with children or need a break between town sights. Alès can feel hard-surfaced in summer; the park softens it.
