Chapelle Saint-Ferreol sits on the hill above Ceret and is best treated as a viewpoint with a chapel attached. From the slopes around it, the town drops away toward the Tech valley and the Pyrenees begin to look close and serious.
The chapel is simple, but the setting is excellent. Go in clear weather, and take water if you are walking up from town in summer.
