Rue Foulerie, Rue Saint-Lubin, and Rue des Violettes are the densest streets for restaurants and bistros. Most places lean traditional French — rillettes, andouillette, river fish, and bottles from nearby Touraine appellations. The Place du Château has a few terraces with the obvious advantage of a view, with the predictable trade-off in price and quality. For something more interesting, walk a couple of streets up into the old town.
