Getting There

Cheverny is 14 kilometres south of Blois, which has a train station on the Paris–Tours line. From Blois there is a seasonal tourist train service, the Train des Châteaux, that runs to Cheverny and Chambord during the summer months. Outside of season, the most practical option is a hire car — Blois has several rental offices. Taxis are available from Blois year-round but are expensive for the return journey.

By car from Paris, take the A10 to Blois (about two hours), then the D765 south to Cheverny. There is a large free car park at the château.
