Amiens Circus

The Amiens Circus is one of the city's more unusual buildings, a late-19th-century circus and performance hall still used for shows. Even from the outside it stands out: a round, purpose-built venue from an era when circus architecture was taken seriously.

It is most rewarding when you can see a performance, but it is worth a look on a walk between the Picardy Museum and the old centre.
