Amiens offers a full day and more for any visitor willing to engage with its two extraordinary assets — the cathedral and the hortillonnages — plus the Jules Verne connection, an excellent fine art museum, and the St-Leu canal district. The cathedral is one of the great Gothic buildings in Europe and should not be rushed.
