A low wooded hill rising 110 metres above sea level on the edge of town, offering views over the Pays d'Auge and down to the coast. The 13-hectare site is quiet and largely natural, a good antidote to the busy promenade. The tourism office runs guided walking tours that explain the site's history, which includes Second World War fortifications built into the hillside.
