Gagra's worthwhile sights are mostly in Old Gagra, where the park, colonnade, fortress, church, restaurant, and palace sit within a short coastal walk. The town is more atmosphere than monument count: subtropical greenery, Black Sea views, and the worn remains of a once-fashionable resort.
