The Cross Mount Walk is a short but steep hike above Borjomi, climbing from the eastern end of Pirosmani Street to a ridge viewpoint. In clear weather, the reward is a wide view over the town, the gorge, and the surrounding plateau.
Allow at least an hour for the climb and return, more if you continue along the trail toward the ruined fortress beyond the viewpoint. The route is best in dry weather, since fog or rain can wipe out the view and make the path less pleasant.
