Bebenhausen Monastery

Bebenhausen is a former Cistercian monastery on the edge of the Schönbuch forest, about 6 km north of Tübingen. Founded in 1187, the complex mixes medieval monastic buildings with a small village setting, and the stonework is especially atmospheric in the evening when parts of the abbey are lit. It makes an easy half-day trip from Tübingen.
